Haven't checked it out yet but I do like cbc.ca's archives section. Its where I get all my history of Canada from.

BTW, the French have something similar. It's a huge archive starting I think in the fourties, of filmed documents of all kinds.
Great if you want to study or improve your French and are interested in the French culture.
