I seem to remember I noted the very first topic posted in 2007 on DV... did you happen to notice that post Raging Poodle?

well, most often it is a problem with not being able to post.... perhaps caught up in an inadvertent ban or possibly browser problems

  occasionally someone would like a posting that they had made removed or personal information and/or pictures removed

  occasionally someone may repent and ask for reconsideration after banning and show remorse for their errors

  any other issue with problems that might come up are looked at as well, but the above are the most common that I have seen

some fixes were implemented today, more are ongoing

  if you have been having troubles posting perhaps try again after this afternoon

hey Raging Poodle, if you have a moment, I wanted to reminisce something that I've been trying to remember, but my brain needs help...

you've probably already googled vpn Raging Poodle, but it is essentially similar to using a proxy, you 'pipe' all of your traffic through another computer network

  you can set up your home or work network to be your vpn, and then wherever you may be you can use that as your own 'proxy'

  they are often set up with an encryption scheme to add to security, especially when using wireless and 'rental' networks

    ....at least that is my understanding from memory, I am open to any corrections by those that bothered to google  

hi 007, ydv and I both know about the problem, and we are doing all we can to get it fixed.... you aren't the only one affected by it

  you are not banned for anything, your IP is just an innocent victim to the 'glitch', send me a private message here if you are still having problems and I'll keep working on it til we get you back up and running

I assume that Teh Borken's reply to me ended up inside my post, making it look like I was saying that I just got engaged, when it was him correcting me that said he is just engaged, not married... lol...  I was all confused when reading my congratulatory pm's this morning lol... thanks for your kind thought anyways )

hmm, I asked for an "unban" on raor's ip, and noticed someone on using that ip posting tonight.... if you are still having troubles raor then it is more likely a glitch and not a ban

  I have heard from a few people that were having posting problems recently, including one of the mods

  ...makes it all the more confusing to sort out sometimes, something about the way the forum software interacts with cookies

  I put in your request as well Raging Poodle, will wait and see if the problem is solved, if not don't hesistate to follow up with me as there has been an absolute ton of business through the holiday period so emails and communications could easily get overlooked (not to mention the new years eve events are a very busy part of the crews workload right now)

  the reason I asked raor is because an IP that was coming up for multiple users may have gotten banned as it was being used by an extremely nasty porn poster, so inadvertantly some regulars were probably caught up in that ban... it appears to be an issue with how a certain provider pipes their traffic to the greater internet, I believe

  not sure what is up in your case though... Ill do what I can... sorry
