PADUCAH, Ky. A former porn star feels she still has something to teach kids. Tericka Dye was fired by a western Kentucky school district after officials learned she used to perform in X-rated films. Dye is reapplying for her job as a science teacher at Reidland High School. She says she screwed up "royally" a decade ago, when she was stripping and starring in pornos. But she says she deserves a second chance. District officials say Dye's past as an X-rated actress could prove disruptive in the classroom. Dye is a mother of four now and says she needs the teaching job to support her kids.

It shouldn't, but I'm sure it does. Her best bet would be to move to another state and apply for a job, where her past wouldn't be as much of an issue. Let's face it, it isn't the best thing to have on a resume.
But it would almost certainly attract the most attention.
Wouldnt matter where she moves, all the porn is around on the net now, and kids will find it.
I agree that it shouldnt matter, but at the same time for kids and teaching them... it does.
Ive heard about something like this from one of my friends who works downtown.. they found out one of the secretaries used to be in porn when one of them saw her old video... Can you imagine the jokes and other such quips that came about afterwards?
It would be tough to find another job unless she changes her name or something or move to another county. Hmm, she could always teach fitness classes like pole dancing.

My parents retirement place in Qualicum Bay got him pretty hard, they had a tree come down and the powers out, good thing they are here in Van right now.
Did you hear about that problem that caused a huge uproar in some states? PETA was advertising how alot of newly immigrated families were going into the local SPCA or whatever the equivalent is down there, and were adopting some of the more exotic pets so they didnt have to put them down.
They then discovered they were adopting them and eating them. It was pretty funny. Ill see if I can find the linky.
