Well, haven't stopped by in a bit.

The Plymouth has some issues, lol. The Camshaft in the motor is worn down on the lobes, due to it being a solid adjustable lifter/ cam follower type of motor. Its gutless when you put the hammer down. So, it needs an overhaul. I almost drove down to Spokane WA, to buy a Fury III which had a 383 and running tranny.. with lots of similar chrome pieces I would have stripped.. but never heard back from the fellow. <sigh>. To Rebuild my current motor in parts (new camshaft, lifters, pistons, bearings, oil pump, etc) and seals alone would cost me 900 shipped to my mailbox. My wife has put her foot down and its now parked in the carport again, and I am busy on finishing the pool system with a new pump and solar heating panels. Its only the end of summer, lol.

On a side note, My daughter is gone to the Island with Oma and Opa, so I only have to keep an eye on the little Russ. Hope he starts walking soon so I can drop him off into daycare, lol.

I didn't think buffets were still around... is the casino one any good?

Wow, Im behind on the times here. LOL. Didn't notice this reply.

Not many buffets around vancouver anymore, I remember seeing a number on the island and up the interior.

Its not too bad PL. Its not the cheapest, but it has a variety of things for dinner.

We normally do dinner, and theres a pasta bar they cook on demand. As well theres a westernish section, and an asian section.

You can do it in a crock pot. Google it

River Rock Casino for Buffet. It was the Summer BBQ time, so hamburgers, steak, chicken, etc, in addition to the normal weekday buffet.

Well, busy last few days. Got back from visiting the parent creatures on the island, then worked on Plymouth again. Got the rebuilt carbureter on, did some more on some of the other things... and ran out of time. So I broke down and took it into a garage to finish up (drives me nuts letting someone else bang on my toys). I have lil Russ for the next few days...

Hope I gets it back tomorrow, and can take it for a burn. Its amazing what a rebuilt carb can do, lol.

Sorry to hear that LM.

AC maintenance is expensive. Especially since any time you do anything on the system now, as they have to remove your freon... they are legally not allowed to put it back. You have to buy new, in BC anyways.
It cost me over 1300 to do my dodge ram. I would do it myself next time, buy it all out of the states.

Let me know when you need to do something like that again.. Ill give you an account number for Lordco to use. You'll have to let me know, as they are sticky with accounts now, they will call the contact number on the account if you aren't listed.

LOL, I5 all the way down and back? Not this weekend (Im heading to Qualicum with the Camper), but next weekend we are heading down to Seaside for 5 days. NOT taking the camper down there. I have enough issues.
