Title: Mother's Day Gifts - Thread for SD!
Post by: purelife on May 08 08 02:47
I didn't want to hi-jack Lil Me's thread on Mother's Day celebrations.

Here was SD's question about chinese framed art:

Anything really. Yeah its from mom.
Something that's framed lettering would be fine.

SD - I saw some chinese letter or framed art/pictures recently in Home Sense/Winners and Linens and Things.  I've never checked Chinatown (which could be an obvious place) so, you could check there in the stores.  I think they sell bamboo scrolls with chiense letterings on it with some sort of scenery pic.  Very pretty!  Heck, I need to find these too for my place.

That's where I figured I should go in Richmond. I'm driving Big Bertha around and the stupid boat is a pain to park in the city. I miss my small car! ugh I'd save 30 bucks at the pump.
oh well.

If you figured it out, then why did you ask in the first place?

Has anyone been to Golden Village? What's it like?

Oh...
Well I'm confused as always.
I was looking through the wiki page of the Richmond Golden Village place, so they've got malls for Taiwanese, Japanese, Hong Kong and Mainland Chinese? wow. Where would I start? lol

According to wiki all the places you were talking about on No. 3 road are called "Golden Village".

Question: Since you are going home for the summer, why didn't you leave at the end of Apr?  Why all this extra cleaning and moving into the new dorm- if you're about to pack up and go home?

Stayed for a meeting, which doesn't happen until monday at 4pm.
I'll be back in the begining of august so it's not too long. Then I'm not going back until 2010 or 2011. (for staying longer in MO for more then a month.)
