Which do you find the most sexy?
British accent on a tall good looking guy is VERY sexy. And if he's wearing that certain cologne, then OMG OMG.....yummy.
Australian isn't that bad either.
I don't often get the chance to hear accents so when I do, it's absolutely a treat.
Yours and yours alone, Gopher baby.
I actually think Canadian accent is quite sexy.
Aussie accent sexy??? I beg to differ. They're a tad crude unless it comes from a decent looking bloke like Hugh Jackson.
I've got two voices. Don't like one of them though the southern one is just stupid.
Really? Crude? I guess that I haven't been around them for long to really think about it.
When I was in the UK, I never really liked their accents. I found some people to be so harsh. I just like accents when the guys have lived in Canada and their accents mix with ours. Hmmm, I hope that made some sense.
Agreed, a Canadian-British accent is wonderful, after that I'll go for French.
Ah look, SD has two voices in his head. *snicker snicker snicker*
I used to like the French accent until I visited France and got.... 'snubbed' by the locals.
English accents are lovely though. Very cultured and refined.
The one accent I can't understand though is the Cockney (spelling?) accent. My uncle speaks with that and I had to listen really, really hard.
Italian isn't all that bad either, I think.
I find Cockney pretty hard going too, but have you ever heard Geordie (Newcastle area), it's terrific.
I dislike the Cockney accent as well. Too harsh for my liking and tastes. Two thumbs down!
Hmm.... never heard of Georgie.... that's new for me. I bypass Newcastle area, should have stopped there for a visit. I think the industrial landscape put me off.
I gotta run, guys. Take care. *gone in a flash of bygone panties*
Yes, I work with many people from all over the UK. I have lots of trouble with people with cockney and jordie accents. (wait is the way you spelled it geordie they way to spell it? Most of the UK peoples I worked with spelled it the way I did).
That being said I have a funny story. I joined a vessel and met a guy onboard with a pure Irish accent, most everyone onboard and myself thought he was Irish, until he told us he was east coast canadian so we all assumed he had recently immigrated. A month later we found out he didnt, he was born and raised on one of the smaller island communities that still has the perfect Irish accent along with their customs. I found that amazing.
I think Japanese/Chinese/Cambodian accents are very sexy. Same with Thai and Vietnamese.
For sexy-ness: I am with Merovingian.
It's got to be French (France) with all the proper tonalities.
Sexy...? I don't know, but I'm fond of Russian accents.
I adore an English accent.....and most preferably, a Cockney accent. I'm not fond of the stiff, fancy upper crust British accent, but the more earthy, 'crude' English accent. Australian always sounds 'fake' or 'put on' to me. My Grandma was born just outside of France, and she was a funny comical ol' gal....so I just find THAT accent to be funny and comical.
I always found myself with a 'Haley Mills' accent in my fantasies. (rofl)
Cockney lingo rulez.........Can also speak with the upper crust English lingo an all......if drunk !!
Cockney lingo rulez......can aspeak with the upper crust British accent aswell...........when pis*ed drunk.........Ahahahahahahaha

Huh! Okay, thanks for the info. Thats surprising.
I wonder what the derivation of the word Geordie might be?

I'm not even sure you can talk in any language at all when drunk, LB.
Hello ladies. I believe I have the accent you're looking for. (//forums/richedit/smileys/Love/25.gif)
The origin of the term Geordie is in some moth-eaten story of our nation's history having to do with competing monarchies and the like some 250 years ago. Supposed to come from George (i.e. "Georgie"), denoting support for that pack of royals.
Australian is simply a bizarre accent. Most accents in English tend to be about pronunciation of vowels. The Aussies can make an O sound like about three vowels at once. Repulsive.
Examples:
bus
London: baass
Manchester: booss
Glasgow: boss
Bristol: buhss or burss
Australia: bass
Ireland: bawrss
The sound "ou" is also great fun, as Canadians already know. But in Northern Ireland the word power is pronounced "poyur", and out as "oyt".

Canadians have accents? I always think of the Canadian speak is monotone and flat??
Everybody has an accent, it depends on where you are *said in monotone voice*
Yep and depends on what you're not wearing... I mean wearing.......
Hmm, the where and the wear.

My dreams I've got a british accent sometimes but it depends on where I am. Sometimes I've got a canadian one but most of the time I've got a german accent I guess I got that from my grandmother and grandfather over the years.
"Which do you find the most sexy?"
I'd say Italian and British, just cause i'm both.. lol but seriously I think they are cool personally..(//forums/richedit/smileys/Happy/2.gif)
British and Irish. I'm both, plus Scottish.
Nice... I heard Celtic features are the best...(//forums/richedit/smileys/Happy/2.gif)
Celtic movies?(http://discoverseattle.net/forums/richedit/smileys/Teasing/12.gif)
lol No... I meant features as in facial features... (//forums/richedit/smileys/Happy/2.gif)
I don't know. I mean I have the requisite number of eyes (3) and noses (2) and mouths (0), so I'm just your average Celt, I guess. Nothing particularly outstanding.
Wow, you must be something. Something like hmm let's say 'Alien' (//forums/richedit/smileys/Happy/2.gif)
No, no, I was born in Canada to perfectly average parents. Turned out a lot like them in looks, although I'm told I favour my father somewhat. More eyes.
Oh really? That's great!! Normal people have 2 eyes, but you have 3 and I must say that you are gifted. You could see what people are doing in a broad range...(//forums/richedit/smileys/Happy/2.gif)
They are space evenly around my head to give a 360 degree vision. I do have to cross the side ones in order to see ahead, though.
lol Hmmm interesting!! and what kind of food do you eat ?(//forums/richedit/smileys/Happy/2.gif)
Nearly anything, as long as it's green. Reminds me of Ireland, you know.
Yeah..(//forums/richedit/smileys/Happy/2.gif)
I was expecting you'd say humans, but it's all good. lol
My relatives do occasionally, but I'm fussier.
uhuh... I see...(//forums/richedit/smileys/Happy/2.gif)
Oh come on!! enough already!! lol
You're right, but it has been fun. Thanks.
You got that right, It was fun... You welcome.(//forums/richedit/smileys/Happy/2.gif)
