I honestly like Adam, but his indignance is ill-placed, considering this all stems from his choice to post under his real name and provide trolls with reams of info about his life and career, and then brag about how he had the guts to use his RL identity. His arrogance and lack of judgement has come home to roost.
You are right. It wasn't the best idea. I still don't think he should have to deal with threats.

The guy just cannot seem to realize that like quicksand, or a barnacle, the more he struggles against it, the worse it gets. An old standby phrase from many years ago (in internet years -- so that means about 1996) was "never post anything online that you would not say in public." Reason being that things have a way of not going away even if they've been deleted. Google thrives on this kind of oceanic mass of binary sludge.
Adam Fulford made a big mistake. He's compounding it by posting complaints like this, which then end up being cross-posted [span style="font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;"]on DV[/span], resulting in another wave of posts with his name and so on.
This is why a mother bird's first action of defence against a predator is often to leave the nest, to draw the predator's attention away from that which she is trying to protect.

Well, it may have been at best, unkind, but there's a big difference between a 'death threat', and a 'death wish'. I didn't read 'Yeps'' post as a death THREAT. You continually draw attention to the things you wish would disappear. May I suggest that you try to ignore them. They will die an appropriate death, unless someone keeps blowing life into them.

I just don't know what to say. As a writer, I would think you would know the power (and the permanence) of putting things down in black and white. You chose a public forum to talk about yourself and what you do. Using a handle would have defeated your purpose, and now you're dealing with the results of that choice. I just think you haven't given much thought to your stand that it is somehow now purelife or Lises' job to clean it up.
Again, if some of the things were not posted BY YOU, a handle would have left them totally unconnected. At the very least, tell me you get that.

P.C., can you please give me some links so I can see what you are talking about.
Jolly Green, a quick search on DV shows they must have all been deleted. A DS search has a little, but it's a 'problem' that has been going on for a long while. It would seem like Adam WANTED people to know who he was, but hadn't prepared for the possibility that he may pick up an enemy or two along the way (especially on DV). I'm sure if you asked Adam, he'd be more than happy to fill in any gaps.
