LOL. Good one. Here's one because it's Canada Day.

An American, a Scot and a Canadian were in a terrible car accident. They were all brought to the same emergency room, but all three of them died before they arrived. Just as they were about to put the toe tag on the American, he stirred and opened his eyes. Astonished, the doctors and nurses present asked him what happened.
"Well," said the American, "I remember the crash, and then there was a beautiful light, and then the Canadian and the Scot and I were standing at the gates of heaven. St.Peter approached us and said that we were all too young to die, and said that for a donation of $50, we could return to earth. So of course I pulled out my wallet and gave him the $50, and the next thing I knew I was back here." "That's amazing!" said the one of the doctors, "But what happened to the
other two?"
"Last I saw them," replied the American, "the Scot was haggling over the price and the Canadian was waiting for the government to pay his."

LOL. Good one, Ms. PC.

When I was twenty-three
I got married to a widow
Pretty as could be.

This widow had a grow-up daughter
With flowing hair of red.
My father fell in love with her,
And soon the two were wed.

This made my dad my son-in-law
And changed my very life.
Now my daughter was my mother,
For she was my father's wife.

 To complicate the matters worse,
Although it brought me joy,
I soon became the father
Of a bouncing baby boy.

 My little baby then became
A brother-in-law to dad.
And so became my uncle,
Though it made me very sad.

For if he was my uncle,
Then that also made him brother
To the widow's grown-up daughter
Who, of course, was my step-mother.

Father's wife then had a son
Who kept them on the run.
And he became my grandson,
For he was my daughter's son.

My wife is now my mother's mother
And it makes me blue.
Because, although she is my wife,
She's my grandma, too.

If my wife is my grandmother,
Then I am her grandchild.
And every time I think of it,
It simply drives me wild.

 For now I have become
The strangest case you ever saw,
As the husband of my grandmother,
I am my own grandpa!

I like Edward's eyes and how they change depending on his mood. *scream*

ORLY? Stephanie Meyers is thinking about writing the fifth book? That's crazy but heck, I can't wait to read it. Maybe she'll turn Bella into a vampire at last. Wouldn't that be great?

OK. I officially need to get out more.

Just came back from the Burnaby Village Museum. TOOOOOOO MANY people. Didn't hang around for the cake but we stayed for the sword fight demo which was quite entertaining. Cute RCMP in their traditional red and black uniforms. All in all, a fair day to be off.

HAPPY CANADA DAY!! *insert Canadian flag*

Like it says. Anything you like. This one's my current fav.

Paul Laurence Dunbar (1872-1906)                We Wear the Mask       WE wear the mask that grins and lies,
It hides our cheeks and shades our eyes,—
    This debt we pay to human guile;
With torn and bleeding hearts we smile,
And mouth with myriad subtleties.      Why should the world be over-wise,
In counting all our tears and sighs?
Nay, let them only see us, while
We wear the mask.      We smile, but, O great Christ, our cries
To thee from tortured souls arise.
We sing, but oh the clay is vile
    Beneath our feet, and long the mile;
But let the world dream otherwise,
            We wear the mask!

Yes. I watched Twilight en route to Hong Kong. I wasn't impressed but the boy did look yummy. I bit pale for my liking (I much prefer darker men) but then again he's a vampyr so it's not a surprise.

Not sure about New Moon. Maybe I will.... if I can stomach the screaming tweens.

I'm beginning to think Bella should go out with Jacob. I mean, c'mon... why the frack did Edward have to leave her? Insensitive jerk.

Hello Andrew! I hope you got what you're looking for.

Thank you for the comment regarding the avatar. I can't remember where I got it from but she's from the animation series Bleach.

It's nice to have stat holiday anytime! :)

I can't sleep past 5am. Fracken annoying. It's so hard to sleep in when you're used to waking up at your usual time to get to work....

Frigging computer crashed on me...... FRACK FRACK.....

Anyhooo.... I was just saying, yes, he's quite the pampered boy. I mean, how can you compete with his mother who lives just below us and cooks him whatever he wants? I've given up on him ever making me a meal but whatever. I eat what I want and don't have to bother making him anything.

Did not go to the Greek festival, purelife. We had errands to run.

I think we're planning on heading to the Burnaby Village Museum or Canada Place tomorrow. Everything's free so it should be a blast for the kids.

Methinks he died of heart failure and not the bump on the head.

What a bummer, PC. Maybe that cashier guy took it. Sucks.

Geez, I wish my man would cook me something like that. What does it take to make a man do that for you?

I am going to try to finish the entire series.

And oh man, do I have a big crush on Edward. *sigh*

OIC. I can't remember what they're called exactly but they're incredibly good.

OK, now back to remembering Michael Jackson. I've been listening to his hits lately.

Thanks, guys. You won't believe how difficult it was to find a stupid swimsuit that fits your form and body and for under $50. I got the tankini at La Vie En Rose Aqua so if you need something cheap, you should go there.

Just saw the signs for Forever 21. They're located close to Toys R Us Metrotown. Can't wait to check out this store.

Uhm... yeah, talk about being inmature in a relationship. I guess she doesn't quite trust her BF.

Sounds like you had fun, LM. Just reading about your little trip is enough to exhaust me. How do you get your endless supply of energy? I get tired just being around my girls for more than an hour. I actually look forward to bedtime so I can sit down and piece my thoughts together.

I'm working two days this week on account of the public holiday. Life is good. :)

Oh, is anyone having trouble posting emoticons on their messages? I can't seem to click on the icons....
