Never give up Never surrender Fight with ur last breath Fight 2 live & Fight 2 survive. Never say never & never say die. There comes a time when all will die A time we transcend & attain our place afterlife. My Fight is not yet done, I'm tired & I'd like to go home, But I'm not ready to go just yet.

Some other Music I associate to Summer has got to come from the BEST ever outdoor concert I worked. That was Ozzfest back on July 16 1999. Since I was recovering from a knee injury, I couldn't work front stage.

So I ended up on autograph pit duty, I was so happy, when I found out I was working that post I could of leapt for joy.  It was a static position that had back stage access control on top of control to the autograph pits...

That path you see led back stage. Ozzfest has got to be the Best concert event I have ever worked bar none. Biff Naked, Big Sugar, AC/DC & Madonna, well they were decent concerts at least I could hear the music and aside from Biff Naked & Big Sugar at S.F.U I got to see none of the stage shows.

I met so many People all famous. I had no clue who any of them were but the girls who kept trying to climb over the fencing from the bleacher area to get to the side autograph pit. Lol, Well they knew who these guys were.

Now some of these Groupies, or if you prefer female fans where flashing breasts and well some others where...Well lets just say I had more than my fair share of offers from girls that said they would DO ANYTHING to get into the autograph area or back stage. I Think I met Most of the bands that day, at least those that were giving away autographs or who wanted to walk the paths down to the back of the stage. I even went so far as to ID Rob Zombie.. I had no clue who he was.. Needless to say I soon learned...Oop's...

On the main stage that day where
Black Sabbath, Rob Zombie, Deftones, Slayer, Primus featuring Buckethead, Godsmack, & System of a Down

On the second stage was
Fear Factory, Static-X, Slipknot, Hed PE, Flashpoint, Shovel, Pushmonkey, Drain STH, Apartment 26, Puya

I had a fair view of the front stage and of the Second stage. The angle was not the best but I could see all the acts. I was off duty just in time to watch all of the Black Sabbath Stage Show I moved further down and to a much better angle I didn't walk to far cause of the bum right knee.. I Got so stoned just from the smoke drifting down, talk about your contact highs...

As security we usually let the pot smokers go, as long as they were not being a nuisance & if they kept it low key it was easy to ignore. However we confiscated ANY alcohol. Drunks have the potential to be very violent. While the pot heads aka stoner's are normally very passive and they tend to be a much easier crowd to deal with.

This Photo Shows where I was in relation to the concert. The Red Dot was my area.
