I went to the mall today and the parking lot was full of black ice.

Next time I'm going to take my ice skate I might be able to stay upright.

Don't forget knee-pads and a helmet.  I was going to go out today, but I did some selective procrastination.

Selective procrastination is good.

My uncle was telling me that Vancouver used to have dense fog that was thicker than what we have now.  Pollution in the old days.  He remembers driving on 1st Ave when you couldn't see the big poplar trees until you nearly hit them.  Someone needed to get out of the car and guide the way with a flashlight.

I remember fog in Van when I was a kid, where we couldn't see more than halfway down our yard.....which was a basic city lot.

Wow....these are so beautiful....

When an iceberg falls into the sea, a layer of salty seawater can freeze to the underside. If this is rich in algae, it can form a green stripe.

Brown, black and yellow lines are caused by sediment, picked up
when the ice sheet grinds downhill towards the sea.

The fog has driven me mad, its a cruel joke. Tonight walking home the campus is under the stars, but when I get to my place, dense heavy fog. Finally was able to see the sky through the fog today, left like I was living in an underwater bubble looking up.

Absolutely pretty pictures, PC.

Wait'll you hear the good news, PC. There's a chance that snow might be on the way sometime next week. Wooooohoooo!
