And some lanes are so dangerously narrow..... example would be Patullo Bridge.

Parking spot in Metrotown close to column. Way too narrow and column too large.

Parking lot at Richmond Mall (where the large Daiso is at), has terrible parking layout.  There isn't a lot of space to back out your car and the space is so narrow and there are too many columns.

I had a friend who came skying at Whistler last winter. They parked in a parking lot close to Thurlow, They were shocked to see how small the spots were compared to Toronto. And yet,the car they rented was quite small.

Doesn't TO/ON also have wider highways and more lanes?

The entire world have... We're stuck between the sea and the mountains with not so good public transportation, hence more people than what it should be take their cars. Went to Richmond the other day for dumplings. Arrrghh hope lots of these people will take the skytrain eventually, but if there are only 2 or 4 car per train, I doubt.

Yes, agreed! Too big, too loud and built too cheap. Talking about stupid parking spots - worst ever would have to be Crystal Mall parking. Ugh!

Crystal Mall has parking? Where exactly? Or is it that little parking lot next to Metrotown?
