Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "WOW What a Ride !" Unknown
This publicity stunt was about a new urban legend TV show and has work admirably well yesterday in Québec. A vast portion of the population seems to have believe in that fake news. I even received an email about it.
It even was taken seriously by environmental activists as this link proves it :
On that page, they have now posted the explaining video, but you can see some other pictures taken from the newspaper 24 hours about a man eater shark and various serious article about sharks in the St-Lawrence river :
I think it says a lot about the seriousness of the news in our medias who exploit the "faith" and confidence of the people toward them for publicity and how people are inclined to believe very easily anything that is presented as "the news".

Ain't that the truth Michel. I wonder if I could make the six o'clock news if I phoned in a report that I saw an elephant walking through my yard. They don't seen to varify their stories, so I'm sure it would fly.
I remember a time when if the news was reporting a disaster of any sort, that you could flip channels and catch every report on the number of fatalities.....and every news report would be the same. Now they are not even in the same ball park.....sometimes off by thousands. Zero credibility.

Sir Isaac Newton invented the swinging door....for the convenience of his cat.
Yeah a good dose of skepticism and critical thinking from the population would be more than welcome.
*prepares his camera bag and make reservations for the ferry to get to PC Provincial Park to get elephants pics*
