Not sure if the male really grieve her, but definitly sad and disturbing. Thanks for the link PL.

Disturbing indeed.  I don't know why anyone would want to kill a turtle.  It goes to show that animals have emotions too.

Turtle soup?  Very expensive. A delicacy for the snobs, actually it is probably very bland if you eat it everyday, but don't ask a snob to have emotion or respect.

I don't know about turtles, but elephants definitly have emotions and even a "religion" since they honoured their ancestors in cemeteries, which is quite amazing.
