don't want to go to New York with my folks

  I live with my folks who are materialistic.  every year they drive to new york to visit relatives and all they do is go out and shopping buying crap and they don't do sight seeing like visiting the statue of liberty and other places.  what should i do?

Ask them to buy you that BMW you've been dreaming of since you were a wee lad. That'll get them going.
