I wouldn't consider Dubai 'muslim' by any means. Its an international city of migrant workers.

It's hardly 'muslim' in the Saudi sense, Dubai was created by Western powers so they could have an ally in the region and turn the region to 'democracy'. Kuwait, Bahrain, Dubai, etc. For Ramadan people just head for the malls.

I don't mind the building in its 'unmoving' form, but when its in its 'moved' state it looks like those apartment complexs in Montreal built for Expo '68.

Ah that's right, sorry about the year mix up.

Its just the way the floors stick out.

I remember watching a programme on that building, apparently it was suppose to be for low income families? Now its one of the more 'yuppish' places, if I remember.
