  I have to say I'm shocked.  I never took you for being a bun bigot.  That's ok...it doesn't change my opinion of you.......well....a little maybe.

lol I think its british in origin. If so, it would be the only think british that has a presence in culinary "tradition" in Québec that I know of. Which is interesting. The translation for it is "brioche", but a brioche is usually round and flat. Anyway, people all called that stuff "bonnes", which is obviously copied from the English "buns" and means "good" in French.
