 What a bunch of dicks. Microsoft just published a patent application for an [a href="http://appft1.uspto.gov/netacgi/nph-Parser?Sect1=PTO1&Sect2=HITOFF&d=PG01&p=1&u=%2Fnetahtml%2FPTO%2Fsrchnum.html&r=1&f=G&l=50&s1=%2220070194902%22.PGNR.&OS=DN/20070194902&RS=DN/20070194902"]adaptive heads-up user interface for automobiles[/a]. It covers, among other things, [a href="http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1175/1210965408_5d61d7d7e8_o.jpg"]virtual fuzzy dice[/a] that appear to move with automobile movements. Who ever said Microsoft doesn't innovate?    
The real trouble with reality is that there's no background music.

I never understood this fuzzy dice business, virtual or otherwise: what was/is the craze all about?
