So, I keep running into people here (in California) who claim that Washington state has a very active skinhead/neo-nazi community.

Is this true?

If so, what drew them to Washington?

How are they dealt with by the state and local governments?

What do they actually do? Do they just hold the occasional march, or have they been violent in the past?
For thou art with me; thy cream and thy sugar they comfort me
Thou preparest a carafe before me in the presence of Juan Valdez
Thou anointest my day with pep; my mug runneth over
Surely richness and taste shall follow me all the days of my life
And I will dwell in the house of coffee forever.

I've seen some evidence of it, but from my understanding most of that shit is in Idaho (the Butlers, etc). I'm sure there are some Aryan Nation a**holes in Seattle but not many of them. Seattle is generally a pretty tolerant place, skinheads and shit like that don't go over to well around here.
The real trouble with reality is that there's no background music.

If they are anywhere in the state I think they would be in Spokane. Since I believe thats the conservative part. Doubt they would like Seattle too much.

I remember hearing something about Cour D'Alene when I was a wee little one.

I believe it there is a group in Hayden Lake, Idaho. Close to Cour Da Laene(sp?). I have been to Spokane a few times for a couple concerts over the years, I never heard of much skinhead activity there. It seems like a plain ol' American town to me.

Well Spokane did have that mayor who was anti gay people then was caught soliciting male whores of the internet from his desk at city hall.

Interesting! Spokane is a different universe compared to Seattle.

your right about Hayden Lake. Took this off of Wikipedia.

Hayden Lake is a suburb or the adjacent city to Cour D'Alene.

what draws these clowns to the pacific northwest is the idea that washington/idaho/oregon will be the causasian/european heritage homeland.

it is the wilderness too i suppose...lot's of bushes so they can jerk each other off while wearing bomber jackets and doc martins.   lol.
