From New Scientist:[blockquote]When either person picks up a glass, red LEDs on their partner's glass glow gently. And when either puts the glass to their lips, sensors make white LEDs on the rim of the other glass glow brightly, so you can tell when your other half takes a sip. Following tests in separate labs, Lee says the wireless glasses really do "help people feel as if they are sharing a drinking experience together".[/blockquote]They'll present their work at the [a href="http://www.chi2006.org/"]CHI[/a] (Computer Human Interaction) 2006 conference next month in Montreal.

The real trouble with reality is that there's no background music.

Call me a snob.....I like my coffee in a mug.....my champagne in a champagne glass, milk in a tall glass, scotch in a short glass.  Wine in a plastic tumbler the size of a 'Big Gulp" ???????  [img style="CURSOR: pointer" onclick=url(this.src); src="http://www.cheesebuerger.de/images/smilie/nahrung/a010.gif" border=0]

It takes a big man to cry, but it takes a bigger man to laugh at that man.
