How do you get the girl you like? What's a good way to get her attention without me appearing like a pervert?

I have no idea, considering I've never had a gf. lol
But then again I've never really tried.

But if I did, I'd have to really start to get to know the person.  Talk to her a lot for about a week and then on the thursday say "hey you want to go for some coffee or something after school on friday?"  or something like that.  Make it really really easy, just talk.  Anyway that's how I'd do it.

We hope that she's single?  It helps that she is, makes it easier for you.  May I ask where do you know this girl?  Is she in your class?  At work? In the library?  

Depending on where you're at and where she is at, I'd start with a smile and a hello.  That would be my first step.  Remember, when you do talk to her, ask her questions about herself.  Girls LOVE (with a passion) to talk about themselves.  Plus, it's a great way to get to know the girl.  Ask her questions about herself, talk about common "easy" topics like the weather or the location of where you're at. ie, school, you could talk about how so-and-so teacher is or how the subject is easy or difficult.

I'm still in highschool, in my senior year. She's like the hottest and most popular girl at my school. She just broke up with her boyfriend recently. A friend of mine heard from someone that she's on the rebound, looking for love. I want to be that rebound love, yeah, I know it's not gonna be permanent... a guy like me and a chick like her, we're not gonna last. All I want is to kiss her, you know, be the guy she can, like, crash to, even if it's just a little while.

  I'm not bad looking nor am I one of the popular crowd but I do hold out on my own. I'm supershy... I just wanna be loved.........is that too much to ask?

  How do you, like, approach her? She's always in her group of hens.
