I always go for Costco butter, cheese and wine.  And groceries at Trader Joe's.

Dont cross the border to BUY stuff at stores per se.. I buy off of ebay and get it shipped to point roberts(CHEAP CHEAP shipping), then cross teh border, pick it up and do the declaration myself.

These things are all cheaper in the U.S.?

Why is that?
For thou art with me; thy cream and thy sugar they comfort me
Thou preparest a carafe before me in the presence of Juan Valdez
Thou anointest my day with pep; my mug runneth over
Surely richness and taste shall follow me all the days of my life
And I will dwell in the house of coffee forever.

Russ

Most food stuffs are cheaper in the US. Our government regulations and taxes make them higher than in the US. Its not a huge amount cheaper, but a noticable amount with certain items.

Speaking of food, Russ, your avatar, is it supposed to be a red X?

I see a stick figure for Russ' avatar.

What I buy from the US? Gosh. I haven't been there in ages. I must say there isn't very much that I would buy from there. If I do get the chance, I would buy a lot more baby items (because Ally said they were cheaper there).

I bought a bunch of Lacrosse equipment and ski equipment in the USA. After the exchange and duty. I think I still saved myself an Assload of $$$.

I don't think things are really cheap in the USA, they are just frickin' more expensive in Canada.

P.C.

It's not exactly convenient for me to 'go shopping' in the States, but when I'm there, I always buy shoes, socks, panties and bras.  Best prices and selection ever.

My coworkers go to the outlet malls quite often.  One time, they bought 7 armani watches (retails around $250 CAD) for $50 US each.  They found the watches at a Fossil watch store.
