Listening to the blues Channel.....413 on digital TV.  THE best music when you've got company, and you just want some background music that doesn't dominate the evening.  Works for me too when everybody's gone home.

I'm listening to a Seattle radio.  The Movin 92.5.  I also like Star 101.5 or something.  If anyone knows of one that has a mixture of everything including Alternative/Rock, please let me know.  :)

Best bets if you want a bit of everything would be the University of Washington college radio station 90.3 FM.
They play: "Where The Music Matters".  UW student run radio.  Live and archived streaming music.  An innovative, eclectic mix of alternative      rock, hip hop, electronic, roots & blues, world & reggae, jazz, and more.

and it would be commerical free.

Hmmm, I'll try it for a while to see if I like it.  I don't recognize the song it's playing right now, but hopefully, have songs that I know.  Thanks.  And, I hope that it doesn't "skip" like other radio stations can.

Sportsdude

its a college radio station they'll play stuff thats 'cutting edge' or underground and then in a couple months you'll be like 'yeah I heard of that song before' when it pops up on the commerical radio stations

If you want more mainstream stuff on the rock/alt end there is 107.7 the end.  Right now though, adam corolla's show is on until the top of the hour.
