My grandma was still going on about the Beatles haircuts, right until she passed away in the early 2000s. Beatles are very cool though. I too even like their early Love/pop songs...before the drugs. But their drug era was the best for me. Rubber Soul and Sgt. Pepper are two of my all time favorite albums.

They have some memorable tunes indeed. Tomorrow Never Knows, Across the universe, all side 2 of the Abbey Road album, Stawberry Fields, Dear Prudence... sigh... Some oldies are beautiful too, If I Fell and Norvegian Wood among other things... I bought all their CD lately (well all the ones adfter Rubber soul, that album included), they were on special at HMV. |
