lol not that generation fight again.

Oh it was something really annoying that only teenage girls like at the times, and probably gay males.

It's light and funny I must say, very joyful and young. In all the crappy pop culture that die with its generation, it still can be used as a landmark like Funkytown or Ring my bell for English speakers. Oh wait my grandpa example maybe doesn't help you to understand what im trying to say lol. So let's put it this way : the best of a crappy culture that you still remember after 20 years, while all the others songs and products of that era just fade away.

Still the lyrics are interesting in a way. It's about girls who destroy their genuine personalities and dress sexy to get boys, altough it's not sure that even if they're aware of this, they want to change that game. So its a mild feminist sexy song. lol

ah the big thing about the song is the dancing involved. For the life in me I don't know how you can do that in a club without knocking 20 people over.

old standards for me lately (aka the usually spacey, expansive music full of synthesizer, sensitive males singing about life songs) lol

Bittersweet Symphony- The Verve- Urban Hymns
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z55hjjJxs_o

Read My Mind- The Killers - Sam's Town
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Oec8RuwVVs

Blue Monday- New Order (the full length song 7mins, not the radio edit)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V44Pubi2DWs

Still in Love- The Stills - Rememberese
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XMkrxQGvhQ0

Dirty Day [junk day mix]- U2 - Best of U2 1990-2000 (remix of the Zooropa album song) (can't find the remixed so this is the original)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GbSZQQWQlkE

Ultraviolet (Light my way)- U2- Achtung Baby
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XD0w55H7b30

Low- Coldplay
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hDUNd1T5owA

Thing's I don't Understand- Coldplay- B'sides from X&Y
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3_7ZOFwoFes&feature=related

One I Love- Coldplay B'sides from A Rush of Blood to the Head
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kthbikn8Z7Q

Precious- Depeche Mode -No Angel
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ltN_jho6zQ

Lucky Man- The Verve- Urban Hymns

was listening to black mountain earlier, great band, but its too psychedelic drug rock for me, which makes me fall asleep.

Pantera - Live 101
Arrested Development - Tennessee
Ben Harper - New song on Sirius radio???
Jack Johnson (not sure the song name, but I think it is about smoking a J and surfing or smething??) Hard to tell what his lyrics are about sometimes.

I am a Sirius subscriber. Vancouver radio drove me berserk....and I am too lazy to upload songs, create playslists, etc. Sirius works for me.
