Don't let me be misunderstood from the Animals is performed down on the street below my window. Is there a festival in town ?

So long concentration for today !

EDIT : It didn't last, but I had time to recognized Sweet Dreams from the Eurytmics and So Happy Together from the Loving Spoonful.

For some reason I had the impression you weren't near street level. It's funny how you form thought on other posters without really knowing that much.

Whiter Shade of Pale. Great old tune.

Office is on the 12 floor.

Did you know that Whiter Shade of Pale is actually a piece of Johan Sebastian Bach, the Largo for Harspsichord?

I didn't know that, fascinating. It ties in nicely then that they recorded Conquistador with the Edmonton Symphony Orchesta.

There's also Horizon on the Foxtrot album of Genesis (that little acoustic guitar piece just before Supper's Ready) that is from JS Bach. No mention whatsoever on the album.

Also Devil's Triangle from King Crimson is a part of The Planets (Mars and Jupiter if I remember well) from Gustav Holst.

Oh and there's also Pictures at an Exhibition from Emerson Lake and Palmer. The original piece is from Mussorgsky (at least they kept the same name).

Electic Light Orchestra must have used some as well, but I wouldn't know it to recognize it.
