I checked the expanded recall list, and there is nothing in my fridge that is ON the list...but I have Schneiders products made by Maple Leaf..and suddenly I don't feel like eating them...but it would be totally wasteful to throw them away...so I think I will continue to refigerate them until they expire, THEN chuck them. Hahahahhaaaa.....GOOD call. Then you feel justified in throwing them out.

Exactly. And until then, the processed meat products will sit in the fridge "for emergencies". You never know when a disaster might strike.

I think they might BE the disaster. I actually feel a little badly for the company. They've been around for 100 years with a flawless record. (of course I feel worse for those affected by their product....that goes without saying) But I watched this silly woman on Anderson Cooper last night (Eleanor Friedland) and she was slamming them like they did it on purpose. She made it sound like they had done this over and over again and were trying to cover something up. That isn't the impression I get.

Do you still eat lunch meat and hot dogs after working there? Just wondering.

Oh yeah, there are high standard of quality. No problem with that. But I read label for the content in grease and I have my preference.
The only thing I refuse to eat is Mock Chicken. It's a mixture of grease from pigs and beef mixed with artificial chicken flavour. Beuark.
Also, thanks to a bad experience in Italy, I dont touch mortadella, neither can I eat saucisson d'Auvergne from France. Bad memories...

If they are not overcooked and somebody choose them for me (I can't choose well because of the colour), I will gladly eat veggies. Otherwise, nope, not too crazy about it.

I like it, Greek salad with feta cheese is my favorite, but I'm not crazy about the bitterness of the olives. So most of the time I give them to the person I'm with.

Mmmmmm......Greek salad. A friend brought us back some olives from Greece, which are the yummiest olives I've ever had. They are packaged in a foil pouch. I'd tell you what they are, but the package is all Greek to me. Seriously.

Some are better than other I must say, but usually I don't take a chance lol. The only one I eat all the time is the one from Opa at Pacific Centre. The quantity of food is so ridiculously small that I have no choice than to eat the unique olive they put as I'm starving. Grrr all this because Babylone doesn't do plate anymore.
