  Nice.   Flickr user Ludd takes photos of horrible public-transit upholstery all over the world. Some of 'em are actually kinda nice, and the Flickr set is pretty cool. And yes, I do think Ludd may have a bit too much time on his hands.

The real trouble with reality is that there's no background music.

I swear I see little birds in one of the little pics.
Trying to think all the metros I've been on most were either all black or red (washington dc), Can't remember Boston it was a really really old train.  And Saint Louis's Metrolink is grey.  Most disgusting subway or depressing one I've been on has to be Chicago's L train and New Yorks eck!.  Best is Washington DC's.
