I was very windy here last night too, Lise.  I was driving home from shopping around 5:30 ish, and I had to fight to keep my car straight.
Our power went out, just before 10 last night.  The rain with it is causing more havoc for us than the wind.....and when it's combined is the worst.  Our roof is leaking badly, and there is no chance of replacement until the spring.  It doesn't leak when it's just raining.

I only had about 5 minutes of walking.  (thank goodness).  My home is very close to the skytrain.  :)

My umbrella wanted to fly away.  I could've been Mary Poppins!  Whhheeeeeeeeeeee... ;)
