As the poll says, what kind of coffee do you drink/ prefer.

Percolated:
Drip:
French Press:
Espresso:

How many cups do you drink a day?

I myself love percolated, but it takes so long I only drink it on occasion or when camping. I was thinking about this on the weekend when I was away camping.

I normally drink drip coffee as I set it for when I wake up in the morning along with my brother if he remembers, and I buy a Timmy Hos on the way in the morning as well as one more there.

I drink about 6 cups a day.

I blend my coffe with mostly dark Columbian.  I'll add some mocha, hazelnut, Irish Cream or some breakfast blend.  To save time and still have perked coffee, you should have a coffee perk with a timer so that you can set it up at night and it will be ready for you when you wake up.  It really gives a lift to the morning.  I usually drink a full 12-cup perk of coffee a day, but on my days off I might have six or seven cups.

Do you mean a coffee maker like this:

Or like this?:

The first one is what I consider drip coffee, and the second percolated coffee?

Do you mean to get it all ready on the stove then just to turn it on when I get up? If you know of a different way I dont PLEASE do share...
Im lazy like that and found it easier to use the drip coffee and set the timer so its done when I get up, grab a cup, smoke, shower, coffee coffee coffee, mug of coffee for the drive.

We have used the same brand for about 10 years.  Last year it was discontinued.  We're still looking for that taste we both love. *cry*
I only drink 2 cups in the morning and never after 9am.  Mind you, you can stand a spoon in it.

I mean the top coffee maker, Russ.  But the one I'm thinking of has a clock with a timer you can set for whatever time you want.  Mine broke, so I'm using a cheapie right now until I get another good one.  Since I get up at 5:30 I used to set it for 5:15 so it would be ready when I got up.  There's nothing like waking up to the smell of fresh-brewed coffee.

I confess I've become thoroughly addicted to a coffee called "Kauai Peaberry". It's sooooo good. I never used to care what I drank, but a few cups of this and I was hooked.

I use a single drip cone and brew one or two at a time. I drink 3 or 4 cups in the morning and steady caffiene intake throughout the day.
Percolators always make me think of being little at my grandparents and watching the bubbling. But I think the toddy method makes the best coffee (brewing a big jar of concentrated coffee then adding hot water to your portion - makes it creamy and yummy).
I'm all about the fair trade and shade grown. Millstone just came out with some for a decent price.
Slightly off topic but has anyone else seen Viso in their area, yet? Best energy drink ever! It comes with 300 milligrams of caffiene, as well as 100% of your vitamins (all of 'em - C, all the B's, etc) and lots of other good stuff like zinc and folic acid. It's a great energy boost without feeling like you're on crystal meth.

Mine was a Braun, but there are many of them on the market.  Don't go for the cheapest.  Consumer's Guide should have some good recommendations if you google it.  They are really worth the expense.
