Been to Bath. What a place!!! Love the old Roman bath or hot springs or whatever you called them... can't remember, so long ago. Still a worthwhile place to go to if you ever get the chance.

No I don't have a polish background. I'm german/hungarian. Grandma was picked up by the soviets and placed in a forced labour working camp in Eastern Poland working in coal mines for 3 years

Oh my.... I think you said that somewhere. Sorry, I forgot. Your grandmother still with you, SD? She must have stories to tell.

Crazy smart, SD.  It means you take responsibility seriously.  By the way, I made it to work on time.  The lights were in my favour for a change.

The lights were in your favour? Really? You cant live in Van then. When I go to school for my engineering upgrade from South Van over the Second Narrows to Lonsdale Quay, I get every blasted red light. 'Specially when Im running a few minutes late cause the coffee was set on auto and I forgot to put something minor like the coffee grounds in.. and of course I have to wait.

Can I ask what you do? Or is that a taboo thing on here? Im finding that DS is alot more open than DV ever was.

The lights switch to outgoing traffic in Burnaby around noon, and my patient lives only ten minutes away on a normal day.  I made it in six minutes.  I'm still surprised.

I'm a caregiver to an Alzheimer patient.  It is a challenging job,  but mentally very rewarding when I can make her comfortable and content.

You don't have to tell me about traffic lights.... bah humbug.... couple that with all the construction that's going on and you have the perfect morning. *sarcasm* Oh btw, just read that construction will go into the fall and winter. Brilliant.

I wish I worked closer to home like you, kitten. Woulda been excellent to find a dentist much, much closer to home but most of them are crap here.

And in Richmond, we have some of the most horrific crazy drivers compared to other cities.  Yes, I'm dissing my own kind.  Many of them can not simply drive.

Downtown Vancouver is pretty crazy too but not as bad as Richmond.
