[h1]Retailers peddle padded bras for girls[/h1]BREAST-enhancing padded bras for girls as young as six are being sold in Victorian shops.[/p]                       Childhood experts have warned parents they could be baiting pedophiles by dressing their young girls as raunchy women. [/p] Tiny matching lingerie sets of lacy bras and knickers in many children's brands including [em]Bratz, Saddle Club[/em] and [em]Barbie[/em], have hit the shelves aimed at girls who are barely old enough for school. [/p] [em]The Herald Sun[/em] last week revealed the latest Bratz Babyz range included sexually provocative baby dolls dressed in leather and lingerie. [/p] The padded [em]Bratz "bralettes"[/em] were among more than 30 different junior bra styles starting at size six on sale at a city Target store visited by the [em]Herald Sun [/em]yesterday. [/p] The Australian Family Association warned parents against sexualising their children. "We have a growing problem with pedophilia and people viewing children as sex objects," spokeswoman Angela Conway said. [/p] "Children do not need these products and I am appalled. It is more than bad taste. The sexual portrayal of children in this country is illegal and these products are pandering to just that." [/p] Australian Childhood Foundation CEO Dr Joe Tucci said padded bras were "the most ridiculous piece of clothing a parent could buy". [/p]  [em]Bratz [/em]distributor Funtastic defended the range. "The idea of the padding is for girls to be discreet as they develop," a spokeswoman said.[/p][span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(0, 0, 255);"](Boy, talk about rationalizing your bullshit, this is off the f*cking scale. -tb)[/span]
[/p] "It is more about hiding what you have got than showing it off. It is certainly not there to make children look like they have breasts." [/p] [span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(0, 0, 255);"](Riiiiiiight, that's why they're padded.....because they don't want to make it look like they have breasts. Uh-huh, sure, I get it. -tb)[/span][/p]Target also stood by the underwear range. It provided "fashionable items that give girls modesty and style as they go through development changes", a spokeswoman said.[/p][span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(0, 0, 255);"]("Modesty" would not include making it look like a six-year old girl look like she has breasts. I have news for you: six-year old girls don't need to worry about the size of their breasts, okay? -tb)[/span] [/p]
The real trouble with reality is that there's no background music.

I don't expect manufacturers or retailers to have a conscience where profits are to be made, but parents should be flayed for buying pedophile bait like that.  It is appalling what people will buy for their kids just because they think it is "cute".  It's even more stupid than dressing up pets, and that ranks high on the stupid list.
Thousands of years ago cats were worshipped.  They have not forgotten.

I've seen mini bras and panties for little girls for years.  'Please Mom' carried them.  I remember telling the sales gal that their buyer needed her head examined.

As well as 'pedophile bait', the other disgusting thing is making a six year old 'body conscious'.  There are so many important basics to be teaching a child, than how they look.
Sir Isaac Newton invented the swinging door....for the convenience of his cat.

the sad thing about all this is that there will be moms out there that would actually buy the padded bras for thier little girls. alot of little girls wear make up.
