Bizzare New Toothbrush Plays Mp3s Through Your Teeth

For those people who need a little extra encouraging to freshen up orally, Hasbro, an American toy company, has devised an ingenious new way to allow music lovers to listen to tunes-- through their teeth.

The technology sends vibrations which transmit through the teeth, then your jaw bones, where they are received by the ear. The device is called "Tooth Tunes", and plays music for exactly two minutes, the time dentists recommend teeth are brushed.

The device will initially be targeted to children, although a market may be found in adult consumers as well. The company hopes to "single-handedly change children's attitudes to brushing".

Brushing's o.k. but one thing that makes me cringe is watching (and listening to) other people doing it.

No way. Are you serious? Boy, you should be in my job where you get to hear the drill going into a tooth surface. Now that's an earful.
