[/p] The twin-engine light aircraft carrying the skydiving group nose dived and crashed soon after take-off. [/p] Ms Delacroix had finished a geography degree at Derby University before going to America to work at a summer camp for disabled children with Camp America. [!-- E SF --] [/p] She signed up for the parachute jump at the Quantum Leap Skydiving Centre with an Australian friend who was one of two survivors from the crash. [/p] 'Engine failure' [/p] Kimberly Dear, 21, from Melbourne, was seriously injured when the plane struck a utility pole and trees before hitting the ground. [/p] The US National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the crash. [/p] Miss Delacroix's family have filed a lawsuit against the engine manufacturer, sky-diving club and others. [/p] Officials said on Sunday that engine failure was the apparent cause, the Associated Press news agency reported. [/p] A message on the skydiving centre's website said it was mourning the loss of its owner, staff and student skydivers.[!-- E BO --]
