  Yea, yea.....tell us what you did at the lake.

  We grew our own lake in the yard this weekend.  I love backyard projects.

Hey buddy!

We camped and swam...swam...sat in the water...and swam some more. It was too hot to go too far away from the water.

Oh, also took time to cook some food and sleep too.

Ah!!! Nice! Not about the heat I mean! That's not so nice!

P.C. how did you build a lake? Did the FSM descend on a cloud of angel hair and lend an appendage???

  I love the heat by a lake...stuck in a city working is another story...oh well, life could be much worse. Also, its only going to get hotter...and hotter...and hottter....

Well, it wasn't my intention to build a lake.....it just turned out that it poured all weekend.  The lake was more like a little river.  

I can't believe this is July.

  Sounds like a wonderful time Devil......send a little sunshine this way, should you get the chance.

Now it is Monday and I am back at work, I would trade a bit of sun for some rain.

My yard is starting to look like a sandbox.

  Yumm! A co-worker brought in some homemade salsa, what a good Monday morning snack!

  I had the most awesome weekend evar!  )))

  I just sat down with my Supervisor who told me that they are going to promote me to a more senior position in my department due to this new opening.  I can't wait for this to happen!  It should be by the end of this year or early next year, the latest.   I love moving up!

hey everybody, just got back from KC, Kansas. I'm pretty much speechless about what happened this weekend. Sureal.

Anyway I'm tearing through Harry Potter. Got the last 200 pages to finish up. I see Gordy made a thread about the end. So I'll avoid that thread, lol.

Nobody tell me either. In a couple hours I'll have the book read.
