i think the best thing for you to do is come up here for a visit. im sure if you post something on craigslist looking for a tour guide, you will get lots of offers from people willing to show you around town.

You're going to get a lot of creepy guys responding to your ad eager to take you out on a tour for "you know what" in exchange!

Believe me, I had learned my lesson. I wasn't looking for a tour but was looking for a cheap accomodation in exchange for bartering my service of casual house cleaning, garden work, office work, etc. LOL, that was a mess.

Another great site that you'll love, Maria is www.vanscape.com. SD, I think that you'll like it too. You'll get to see how Robson Street looks like because Robson Street is a famous street for SHOPPING! It'll give you a feel of how downtown Vancouver looks like. Enjoy.

That's my plan SD. And when you do decide to do that and I have some time, I will definitely show you around Vancouver. I like being the tourist guide. I like to see how excited people get about things in Vancouver that I would probably overlook and not even bother to care. I like a fresh outlook.

Well it all depends obviously on your work schedule and mine. Sometime when its not raining. Because I went to Seattle during Spring Break this year and it only rained one or two days but it was mostly cloudy.

SD, have you ever visited Berkeley or the Bay Area? I thing you will enjoy the cultural diversity of the Bay Area......and we have the Napa wine country in the north and the Monterey Bay in the south.

No, haven't been to the Bay area or California for that matter. Seen everything east of the mississipi plus arkansas, louisiana,texas,kansas, oklahoma, colorado and visited Washington State for a week this year. Trying to warm up to California but everytime I turn on MTV it makes me not want to go there.
