There are times I have looked back and wished I had posted before the topic faded in the distance.  One of those "too late smart" things.  I don't like to resurrect a dead topic for some belated thoughts.
Thousands of years ago cats were worshipped.  They have not forgotten.

What's funny is how easy it is to 'assign'  one of those characters to certain posters, but how reluctant we are at assigning one to ourselves.  (I think I may be in denial) LOL

I think I may have been a bit of a "lurker" when I first started on DV. I'd read and read and read, too shy to butt in, then once in a while I'd post without remembering my manners and drunk on anonymity. I was never that mean or anything. Just stupid and inexperienced, and usually just mean to christians espousing their faith.
...religion has made some contributions to civilization. It helped in the early days to fix the calendar, and it caused Egyptian priests to chronicle ecplipses with such care that in time they were able to predict them. These two services I am prepared to acknowledge, but I do not know of any others

I'm a lurker. When I'm really into a forum I'm also an archivist.

The wonder of the Net is that the carefully traveller can bend it to his will. There are a million microcosms floating before us, instantly accessible and just as easily discarded.
