Hmmm, if The cross had been made of metal, the whole resurrection debate really would have been settled, wouldn't it?
 
 Anyone who comes back three days after being fried would have to be pretty special. Just think of the "miracles" that would have resulted.

One of the sad things is that the families are going to think that they did something displease their angry, vengeful god. When the only thing they did wrong was ignore the teachings of The Wise and All Knowing Science.

It helped in the early days to fix the calendar, and it caused Egyptian priests to chronicle ecplipses with such care that in time they were able to predict them. These two services I am prepared to acknowledge, but I do not know of any others
