 Breaking the mold, the Louvin Bros. above were actually top country songwriters before the album above was released. Note the Capitol Records logo. (!)
 
 Freddie Gage is a fundamentalist psychotic, and the title of the album is the title of his classic sermon, one of the highlights of which is when he tells a kid whose father just died that the father has gone to hell.
 
 On the other side of the spectrum, the [a href="http://www.shaggs.com/"]Shaggs[/a] are just something that one can only stand back from and marvel at. Like the formation of slime mold, they occurred naturally, are not a joke, and captivate one's eyes and ears like an attraction at a carnival side show.
